I'm wondering if anyone has sources for trade/ sale, of cultures that aren't so common:
Agaricus augustus (the Prince), A. blazei (the Brazilian medicinal), cordyceps (I know the cultures are rare), any other very interesting thing (I remember someone posted that they've got Boletus edulis, Cantharellus cib. in culture)
I've got a local Morchella, L. edodes, G frondosa, and Hericium in culture, available for trade.
Thanks for the referrals guys. My cultures are from:
H erin. a grower up north (Ca) who said he's doing his own isolates, so no patent. Very vigorous, fruits in a 60cm petri dish under parafilm.
L. edo. from another grower mid-state, also doing own strains. Not as vigorous as H. erin, but makes a beautiful log. Hasn't fruited yet, mostly due to my system being "not quite there" yet.
Morchella "rufo-brunneus" looking deliciosus type. Local southern Cal. garden volunteer, abundant last year, hasn't shown it's face this year yet. I have it making sclerotia and that's as far as I've taken it. working to make a better controller for the environment.
Grifola from fresh market supplier at fungus fair. no patent when asked. He said I should work hard on the morels, and he'd buy and sell all I could produce He knows how difficult it is.
I'll try to get some images next week or so. I've got some nice ones of the morel on grain, I think.
