no fuzzies yet?!
    #410039 - 10/01/01 11:12 AM (23 years, 3 months ago)

i just inoculated my first batch about 3.5 days ago. it's hot where i am, and room temperature (no AC here!) is 85-90, so the glasses i'm using instead of jars are just in the box they came in in the corner. no sign of any contams, but there's no sign of any fuzzies yet either. just wondering how long some of you have taken to see the first mycelium growth. I'm just starting to worry cause MMGG says 2-3 for first appearance, and I think PF says within a week, but he seems to imply that it will be shorter than that. I'm using MMGG/PF tek. any help is greatly appreciated!

Within a week is more realistic.

Yeah, a week is somehat more of a realistic figure... especially if this is his first time.
