latex spray

if i Spray the inside of my casing tray with latex spray so its not clear
will this contaminate my casing in any way?
Im thinking it wont, but just want to check..

Latex will not hold up to the amount of humidity. It probably will not harm them but you'll get paint chips in your casing when it starts to flake off. Try an enamel. Or better yet just duct tape the outside of your tray or use tin foil on the outside. Spray the outside anyway - why spray the inside?

because the outside is not directly against the casing so light can go through the plastic sides.. straight down and contact the mycelium... i thought
oh well
I allready sprayed em./. they look pretty cool.. I'll use em and see how i tworks out
