vacuum packing

I'm considering trying to preserve my mushrooms using one of those little kitchen vacuum packing devices that suck the air out of plastic bags. Do you think this would work? Anyone had any experience? Any info appreciated. Thanx.

It'll work...just make sure they are dry.

I have been thinking about using a vac packer for awail, just don't have the money to invest. If you try one let me know how if works and if it is worth the money.
