Ok so i am going to case with 50/50 tek peat moss and verm with egg shells and oyster shells. But i cant find the oyster shells and i dont live near the ocean. So should i wait and order from an online store or just go with out the oyster shells. Also my WBS jars are fully colonized would it hurt if i left it in the incubator for a couple of more days.

Are you talking eggshells like from your breakfast? If so then you won't need the oyster shells as they're essentially the same thing. If you're using peat moss right out of the bag, you may want to find some hydrated lime though. The eggshells will serve as a long term buffer, but the hydrated lime will act immediately... GL bro

in the tek it says use hydrated lime and crushed oyster shells but because of the differences in brands of lime they say to use calcium carbonate witch i was told was the same thing as egg shells. So your saying just make it with peat moss verm and egg shells or lime?

I personally use both hydrated lime and crushed oyster shells. The hydrated lime immediately acts as a buffer, while the crushed oyster shells will sustain the levels.
I use the 50/50+ tek and have really good success. You can buy crushed oyster shells at your local feed store for about $13.00 a 50# bag. They use it to feed to chickens. Or you can buy crushed oyster shells from your local pet store for about $3.00 a box (8oz.).
Good luck man.

That will work fantastically well Just think: Eggshells = Oyster shells... I'd go with the hydrated lime (for immediate results) as well as eggshells or oyster shells (for lasting effects)... GL bro

why dont you guys just go to home depot, lowes, osh, or your local nursery. If the the big stores dont have any half ass nursery will have it, it is very common
