Few pics from today's hunt

Went to check out a new place for morels today. Not as great as I had hoped, but found 2 of them that were a decent size.

Here's a pic of the biggest morel I've personally found (friend's bro actually found it). It was around 6-7 inches total:

Here's a bright green metallic beetle. He was so fast I couldn't get a picture of him at first. Then I flicked him. That fixed the problem:

And a shot of a creek. Pretty good for a 1 second exposure with no tripod, I thought. The secret: I used tree roots as my tripod. :wink:

Great pics! Perhaps you could consider purchasing a mini-tripod, that will allow you to photograph mushrooms with natural lighting conditions. Make sure it's a stable one, otherwise it won't hold the bulk of your F828's lens still enough :wink:
