Best LSA extraction for simple minds

So we dont want to do erowids extraction, because its too complicated with chemicals and what not. And we dont want to swallow ground up seeds again :frown:
So would this work:
Grind up seeds:
Soak in water:
Strain through coffee filter or other filter:
drink pure liquid?

How long should we leave the seeds soaking?

Yes, a cold water extraction is a fairly good one. Make certain however that it is distilled water, NOT tap water.

I really recommend taking shots after drinking the stuff. It seriously forces it to kick in almost immediately.

i would say use bicardi 151 or another strong alcohol instead of water. i tried extracting 250 seeds using water (tap water in this case :frown:) using the tea bag method, i let it soak for around a hour and i took it out to work it every 10 mins or so. upon ingestion, it didnt do anything. ive heard you need to smoke weed to get off baseline also. my first time with 188 seeds soaked in 151 for 2 days, and with weed, worked fantastically. music gave me ears orgasms  :heartpump: i recently got my 8oz of seeds in the mail, so once i can get some weed, i will have quite a trip  :weirdeyes:

I think you may need to soak the seeds in water for longer than an hour, like maybe a day or two.

on erowid i read about a cranberry juice extraction. i tried it and it worked great. i did puke, but only 2 times in the begining and 2 more about 4hours later.(2 quick heaves each time, no big deal.) i ground up 1oz of heavenly blues and let them soak i a glass of cranberry juice for 3 days. i strained the liqiud through a coffee filter and drank that. the result was extremely visual. very awesome. a friend ate about 420 seeds and was extremely sick. so i learned that this simple extraction is well worth it. i ordered my seeds here:

$25 for 1/2lb, $40 for a lb. they were very potent. i havnt seen anywhere for cheaper.

water fresh out of the tap has enough chlorine in it to pretty much destroy most of the lysergic acid compounds rather quickly...
traditioonal method is to grind the seeds on a metate, put the powder in a gourd with some spring or well water, and let sit in a cold stream oavernight, then filter the liquid through a cloth & wring all the liquid out & discard the pulp (into the garden? onto the compost heap for fertilizer? feed it to your earthworms? heh...)

you could grind 'em in a blender, rinse the blender with distilled water (boiled & cooled tap water would have the chlorine driven off by boiling, but hey, a gallon jug of distilled water is under a buck, mmmkay?)
a lot of folks wash the seeds first to remove any pesticide coating (or ya could purchase organic seeds...)

some folks even recommend sprouting the seeds to remove the shells & grinding up the little sprouts... (NOTE: this would for sure change the alkaloid profile of the biomass!!!)

Keep us posted on that one, that would be EXCELLENT if it all works good. Right now i'm trying the naptha/everclear method. I've tried the cold water twice now, both with psychoactive effects, though not equalling the bad effects. I'm just soaking two days in some walgreens lighterfluid (naptha containing) and letting that evap off, then taking some everclear and taking out the goodies.... hopefully it works!
