So, this is my first attempt at the BRF PF Tek. I used the classic method, incubated at 27*C for over 5 weeks (very bitchy to colonize the bottom of the cup, the last 20 days to end less then 10% of the cup). Cold dunked and rolled. It's been inside a PmP for little over 2 weeks, fanning and misting lightly daily. The temp in the PmP is not very stable, but varies from 22*C up to 28*C (my light is producing a little more heat then I expected/wanted)... The light schedule is 8hr on 16hr off, to help keep the temp a little lower.
The spores where aquired from the wild.
 
The funny thing is that only the bottom of the cake is showing pins, I think there might have been some overday due to the long incubation time... so I only found out that it was pinning when I looked at the cake this morning and it was tilted to one side. When I checked to see what was going on, there they where.
Now I wanted to ask you, are these 2 guys abhorts???
They are looking darker then their friends.

Those two caps look like the beginnings of bacterial blotch. Hopefully someone else jumps in to further my thoughts.

Yep those dark colored caps are aborts...you should have birthed them a lot sooner.

The problem was that it was not done colonizing...
It got to this point quick, in about 12 - 13 days:
 
Then, to finish that last part on the bottom of the cup, it took forever... more 3 weeks until it was finished. And you could clearly see that this part on the bottom was poorly colonized once I got it out of the cup...
Now they look like in vitro because the only part that pinned was the bottom of the cake (the upper part of the glass, where I had the dry verm layer.
Now I have the cake laing on it's side...

hay man to fix that just put like an 1/8th inch of vermiculite on the bottom of the jar/cup. its a lil trick i learned Early on in my cultivating

Im pretty sure putting verm on the bottom isnt going to help him here lol. Jars tend to slow down towards the end because of air exchange (or lack there of), and the buildup of Co2 that follows.
