Trich hits casing, outdoor recovery??
    #4094472 - 04/25/05 10:41 AM (11 years, 7 months ago)

I had three casings one i think im tossin. The other two were fine except for one little patch. I scooped that part off the casing and mixed up the whole mix, verm and everything and mixed some water in and some whole grain, uncooked brown rice. I buried the mixture in a nice deep whole and covered with an inch or less of dirt and scattered leaves and such to make it look natural (in my backyard behind my shed.)

Anyone see where i couldve messed up?? Im thinking it might take a few weeks before i see anything, as i broke the casings (which were almost done incubating) into fat chunks, the mycelia network has to reorganize itself.

Pretty positive this should work.

When you use poo outdoors, probably that which i will purchase, Do i need to pasturize it?? The mycelium should be able to use the whole grain rice, uncooked as well shouldnt it? I figured it might not be rapid, but its more there for the whole summer you know to keep the bed nutritient rich.
