Nice un-biased polling.
~Shit just happens.
Their are many things that are right and wrong, but they aren't right or wrong (absolutely).

I see only 2 possibilities. Either there really is a god-given concrete knowledge of "right from wrong", or it is an illusion based upon convenience created to help control the masses.. what other options could there be?
If a majority of people view something as "wrong", they create a "set and setting" environment wherein it is wrong, and the inverse also is true.
Therefore I contend that "right from wrong" is, as far as the big picture goes, just another illusion.

Smallworlds seems you don't have your head fully on your shoulders if you still are wondering if there is right and wrong in the world. Were you raised in a religion?

The thing is...
My observations are ever increasingly noticing that the whole concept of "right and wrong" is being hijacked ever increasingly by those in power (read: Bush and those like Bush), in order to label anything they don't like as "evil", or "wrong".
This makes me wonder if there really is a true definition of right and wrong, or if the whole thing has been nothing more than a hoax all along.

The absolute nature of right and wrong... is subjective.

It's not even subjective. It's because people take things on a personal level where they will label things as right and wrong. It's more like an opinion.
Define subjective.

Here's a subjective definition; http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=subjective
Subjectivity gives rise to opinions, and vice versa.

My definition is subjective in itself, and isn't right nor wrong...
What would the purpose of espousing a definition who's implication when defined is characterized by its namesake? It would not be too disimilar from the common definition.

The root of right and wrong is in logic
It always comes out like a different definition because different people tune in to logic with different rate of success

In talking about it in terms of the ultimate destiny of life itself, it could reasonably be stated that the great karmactic balance will be satisfied in spite of it all, making any one specific event basically irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. So, yes, shit just happens, get used to it. Sometimes it's fun things, too.

The concept of right and wrong does exists in human minds, and I think we have a right to complain when someone does something wrong, at least until this carmic destiny gets proven or something

I said the grand scheme, on personal levels there definately should be personal accountability for harming another, but in the big picture, that we sometimes can't see all that well, it all balances out.

But what does this big picture have to do with the way we handle our laws system or the way we treat each other? If we are to to look at everything from the perspective of rocks, then sure there is no right or wrong, in fact there is nothing, and we can do whatever we want and not take responsibility, but where does that lead us?
The whole point of morality is the question: if everyone acted like I did, would society be a more productive, stable and pleasant place or not?
