1 a. Habitat - found in rainforest growing from the base of trees during rainy weather. Maleny, South East Queensland, Australia. b. Characteristics of the gills - yellow pores not gills, honeycomb-like appearance. c. Measurements of cap and stem - ranging from 3cm diameter to 8cm diameter, similar height range. d. Characteristics of the stem - woodish stem, from brown to pink in areas. e. Characteristics of the cap - purple to pink in colour, rough texture, liche-like appearance. f. Spore print color - unfortunately unable to obtain any spore prints as i was unprepared for the find. g. Color that the mushroom bruises - intense and almost instantly turning blue. h. smell - lavenderish?
2 a. Habitat - same as above b. Characteristics of the gills - same as above c. Measurements of cap and stem - generally around 3-4cm in diameter, height about 6-7cm. d. Characteristics of the stem - thick whitish stem, turning orange when broken. e. Characteristics of the cap - cream to light brown, speckled in parts. f. Spore print color - unable to obtain! g. Color that the mushroom bruises - instant blue, same as above. h. Scent of mushroom - ?
