this problem started about 2 weeks ago and im not sure why. When most webpages load, they load and work fine, except for a small section usually on top or off to the left side.this section has the internet explorer symbol and says Action cancelled.I have been ignoring it because as i say besides it beinng there the pages load and work fin, however i would like to know why it is doing this so i can get rid of it.I am not really technical so if anyone can help i would appreciate it.

you may not have macromedia or similar plug ins. Http 404... Maybe it's your pop up blocker... if you have one set it so it doesn't show you what it's blocked...

Re-open IE.
Tried this and ran a medic program to fix my browser and neither did anything to fix it.Its not every page. Its pages like my email, some commercial sites,ect..not every page, and sometimes its a small little box about 1/4 of the page sometimes 1/2 the page size.I do not know how to do a screenshot however this is what it says every time: Action canceled Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable.

This may be it.question, would the place that controls macromedia be in the internet options section under the security tab where things like script controls ect.. are located? If so thats probably it.i was in that section and acidently changed all the settings and i dont know what they should be set at because i have no idea what they mean.now it prompts me for things all the time.Do you think that is what it is?My pop up blockers are turned off. Thanx guys
