A wake, in a dream...
    #4085517 - 04/22/05 05:40 PM (12 years, 3 months ago)

When you lay down to sleep at night, you lay in a posture; you might move around a lot, and you might not. As the night progress, you think not any more of what you want to do, but merely does it.
This we call dreaming... doing what you want to do. Alone. In a universe free of laws, and governing you are the one roaming around doing as you please.
Then for not to be alone, we come together, and together we think of what we want to do again, and right back in the game of being awake, we go?.

We should be able to live as we dream

In my dreams I have total freedom, yet I've never killed anyone or hurt anyone, not that I remember..

so if they have to total freedom I'd repay them with kindness not with unleashed violence

questions for ya old wood,

If there is a God, Creator, Source whatever that is all power and powerful, what all things made manifest come from and you went to harm it, could you and how? If you could do harm to the all powerful essense of eternal life, what would that be? What would that make the all powerful power everything is? Would it fight back or laugh in love for your even attempting to get postal on it?

Just curious to know the perspective your comment to gomp came from.

 Thread reminded me of something I've read in the past. (It has a lot to do with dreams) ... also touches on a few other "controversial" subjects.

A dream within a dream. I often wonder which is the "big" dream that the other comes from, as in Don Jauns double, where the impass comes and one realized the double has dreamed the self. The double has more power or freedom of action. I have heard studies on the brain of dreaming persons show more activity durning the dream state, as if the brain reacted to the dream as more "real". :mushroom2:

Same difference in a way, to me anyway and not a god but just 'source".

So, you were referring to a response to the law and rule makers when you come back into the waking world of laws and rules, is that it? Just for clarification.

I didn't understand what your reply had to do with what gomp wrote exactly.

I said we should be able to live in wake reality just like we do in dreams, not think as much as we do about things, but live freely, be able to go anywhere anytime and do anything
So I said If I was somehow free of laws, I would still not be a danger to others, not willingly at least

We just think we have to dream to see the 'universe'

we think things into existence, such as gravity and time and walls and boundaries
