Filter disk adhesive?

Does anyone use Micron Magick filter disks by gluing small pieces across a hole drilled in the lid as mentioned on their web site? If so, can you please give me advise on an adhesive that would withstand sterlizing?
I am thinking that a good alternative would be to use two drilled lids with matching holes and wedging a small circular piece of filter between them.
Advice?

Thank you for the response.
Regarding my idea of using two lids, I realized this may not be very such a good idea since the small space and moisture between the 2 lids could provide an evironment for mold and mildew to take hold and grow onto the filter itself.

can't you just wedge the filter disk into the O ring portion of the lid?

Indeed. The main reason to only cover the hole and not the entire diameter of the lid is conservation of filters. Using this method one filter would be sufficient for many jars. But since the filters are relatively cheap, this is by no means mandatory.

using an entire filter can be less enticing than a filter disk cut to size though- since the "lid" is so much wider, the chance of a loss of moisture increases with the size of the lid (and is a lot if you use a disk and the ring only). which is why i believe nushroom recommends a colonization chamber sealed with perlite when using the whole disk... so they dont dry out. a small one would work much like a polyfil lid (wouldnt need the extra chamber)- but wouldnt get the great fresh air...

interesting, I am using only the lid collar and the filters, and I seem to have no problem with dry out. However the colonzation is very fast. So perhaps there isn't enough elapsed time for dry our.
