When will this substrate start growing?

I have made a substrate out of straw/poo, and put it in a rubbermaid container over top of a broken up PF cake with vermiculite on the bottom wich was misted . The layer of substrate is mabye an inch thick, I pasturized it, and let it drain over night, but it was still very moist. I'm hoping that it's not to wet, but I dont think it is.
How long before I see some signs of mycelium, it's been about 3 days.
Im going to post some pics.

well, if you havent let the myc grow together again over night before casing, then you can add a day for waiting. And for me it can take up to a week till i see something. So just wait!

Now I dont know if you want to case later or if the poo is your casing.(As you always call it substrate) if you want to case it later you should mix the mycelium with the poo, in order for it to colonise quicker. Then when fully colonised add a casing layer.

IFurtehrmre I dont like the "i misted the verm" part... did you mist it heavily?! If so, then the wet poo will drip down and can sort of "drown" your mycelium. I had this this grow resulting in no mycelium piercing the surface at the sides of the casing.
If you have only slightly misted, then you should be ok, cause verm has a big field capacity.

Well there was alot of verm, mabye like an inch and a half, so I misted it enough for it to be moist but not soaking wet.
