    #4083139 - 04/22/05 12:02 AM (11 years, 8 months ago)

so i took all my nice bought expensive poppy seeds and planted them in manured, disturbed clay today, and gave at a good drenching, its now 1am i went out and found the ground all crispy, were talkng an inch of frost here. i daresay freeze.

so lay it on my baby, how bad?
these were all some pure strains. all i got left to plant now are bastard hybrids.
and im not paying that much for seeds again.

can wetered poppy seeds handle a little freeze?

yeah, but if you planted them in august, they would be well established by freezing, mine are seeds, and were watered heaveily just before it froze.
