For me it has to be Chicane's tune "Strong in Love" featuring vocals by Jan Johnston. There are a few different mixes, my personal favorite being the one that clocks in at 7:49. Love really is what you/I/we need to deal with all the negativity and bullshit that's going on everywhere Please share the songs that you find uplifting

"bulls on a parade" by Rage against the machine always gets me going.
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Lol kaiowas! I listen to Rage in the morning, too
I like to hear 'Wake Up' by rage against the machine, just as I'm doing so.

Here's another good one to get you going in the mornin, Freak
Strung Out - Unkoil
Slipping in and out of reason and I don't mind, Side effects are expected with this experiment of mine, I wanna be reborn breath smoke think black and call it a night! A temporary eclipse outshines me for a moment I see no end in sight now!
And still I wait for this stranger inside of me to show himself and let me be!
Slowly I increase the dosage one more try and I'll get it right now! Feel my head expanding outward I've arrived at a place I haven't been before yeah!
Something in the atmosphere is speaking what I wanna hear, The walls have started breathing the colors I am seeing, The sign ahead reads welcome beighbor give up all your fears and enter step on through no hesitation!
No disguises! My eyes are wide open and I can see for the first time! How did we get this far down? How do I find my way back from this head I've let unkoil?

Ring around the rosie Recommend Bussongs.com to a friend! More about this song / Easy reading version
Ring around the rosie, A pocket full of posies, Ashes! Ashes! We all fall down!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you know of alternate lyrics to this song? Tell us!
More about this song
Many music historians feel this song has its roots in the bubonic plague that swept through Europe. It was somewhat macabre, with references to a rosie ring (infection), posies (which supposedly warded off infection), and the cremation that was performed on those who died to prefent the spread of the disease. And you thought it was jsut a fun little rhyme!

Mornin, guys! Got the tunes playing right now
Come on! Come on, although ya try to discredit Ya still never edit The needle, I'll thread it Radically poetic Standin' with the fury that they had in '66 And like e-double I'm mad Still knee-deep in the system's shit Hoover, he was a body remover I'll give ya a dose But it'll never come close To the rage built up inside of me Fist in the air, in the land of hypocrisy
Movements come and movements go Leaders speak, movements cease Wehen their heads are flown 'cause all these punks Got bullets in their heads Departments of police, the judges, the feds Networks at work, keepin' people calm You know they went after King When he spoke out on vietnam He turned the power to the have-nots And then came the shot!
Yeah!
Yeah, back in this... Wit' poetry, my mind I flex Flip like wilson, vocals never lackin' dat finesse Whadda I got to, whadda I got to do to wake ya up To shake ya up, to berak the structure up 'cause blood still flows in the gutter I'm like takin' photos Mad boy kicks open the shutter Set the groove Then stick and move like I was cassius Rep the shutter step Then bomb a left upon the fascists Yea, the several federal men Who pulled schemes on the dream And put it to an end
Ya better beware Of retribution with mind war 20/20 visions and murals with metaphors
Networks at work, keepin' people calm Ya know they murdered X And tried to blame on Islam He turned the power to the have-nots And then came the shot!
Uggh! What was the price on his head? What was the price on his head!
I think I heard a shot (x5...) I think I heard, I think I heard a shot!
black nationalism he may be a real contender for this position should he abandon his supposed obediance to white liberal doctrine of non-violence...and embrace black nationalism. through counter-intelligence it should be possible to pinpoint potential trouble-makers and neutralise them through counter-intelligence it should be possible to pinpoint potential trouble-makers and neutralise them... and neutralise them... and neutralise them...
Wake up! wake up! wake up! wake up! Wake up! wake up! wake up! wake up!
how long? not long. cause what you reap, is what you sow.

Willie Nelson - Bloody Mary Morning
It's a Bloody Mary morning, Baby left me without warning Sometime in the night So I'm flyin' down to Houston Forgetting her's the nature of my flight
As we taxi toward the runway With the smog and haze Reminding me of how I feel Just a country boy who's learnin' That the pitfalls of the city Are extremely real
All the night life and the parties And temptation and deceit The order of the day Well it's a Bloody Mary mornin' Cause I'm leavin' baby somewhere in LA It's a Bloody Mary morning...
Our golden jet is airborn And flight Fifty cuts a path Across the mornin' sky And a voice comes on the speaker Reassuring us flight Fifty Is the way to fly
And a hostess takes our order Coffee tea or something stronger To start off the day Well it's a Bloody Mary morning Cause I'm leavin' baby somewhere in LA It's a bloody mary morning...
Or if you prefer, the Supersuckers version, which is just as great.
