Pins from a tray (piclog)
    #4081028 - 04/21/05 01:50 PM (11 years, 7 months ago)

Foafy had a tray of poo/verm/straw, was conerned about substrate depth, but, used a plant tray anyway ~2 inch substrate depth.
Here are some pics of his pin development.

The fruits, he tells me, are not very big, though he's experiencing "rolling flushes" so we may be updated.  Best pinset he's gotten, he says, even it the fruits aren't mondo.

 Looks great!  Fruit size could be attributed to shallow sub depth... GL bro :stoned:

That's my guess...the caps were very light colored on that end of the tray (the first to pin) whereas the pins in the foreground have that darker cap color that looks better.  Pins are still forming and maturing, especially in the foreground of that pic.  Foafy's not sure when a true, discrete "flush" will come through.

very nice!~

what strain?

2" of substrate...try 4" to 6" and you will get larger fruits.

The syringe to the strain was lost and forgotten. :frown:
I had read agar saying these plant trays were alright, but I think he may use a bit deeper ones and of course he uses better poo than what those grew off of.
I'll pass along the comments to foafy, guys.  Thanks.
