I have no idea how this happened, but there appears to be a 1cm. cut on the tip of my San Pedro, the most beautiful part IMO. It turned black since yesterday, what should i do about it? Cut a triangular piece out of my cactus with a clean knife? I'm worried for my little baby, you know how it is

If the black thingy is spreading it would be best to cut it off, making sure no traces of black stuff are left in the plant.
If it's not spreading but has damaged the apical meristem (i.e, the branch stopped growing), you can choose between cutting it off or let it be. Either way the cactus should throw out pups.
If it is not spreading and the cactus seems to keep growing anyway i'd just leave it be.

Cool, it's not spreading so far, so i'll leave it be until needed. Thanks for the help, i'm not as worried now. I can't even imagine cutting this thing down to eat it, it's too pretty. Last time i had a san pedro, i wasn't ready for the experience and didn't have any respect for the cactus itself, and ended up falling asleep while it was boiling away. I so deserved it, i only had the beaut' for a few weeks prior.
