WOW that is really great news for everyone suffering from that disease. I hope they develop it and bring it to the states despite the money making agenda pill companies have. I mean they make a lot of people with diabetes.

My roommate's ex has type II diabetes and he spends $100 every three days on insulin! And they grow it with bacteria! It's outragous!!!

Awesome----evidentally there are alotof vaccines nad cures out there but it takes so long for shit to get run through the FDA, the stuff doenst hit the market for a few years. I guess a flight to Japan is always a worthy trip to cure diabetes though.

Well, it's more like a treatment than a cure since the patient will require powerful anti-rejection drugs with potentially serious side-effects for the rest of their life.

The real cure will come when cloned organs, or perhaps entire bodies who's brain was prevented from developing, become available for people to harvest organs from without complications from rejection.

Republican Values:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

interesting. Too bad about having to take drugs so the body won't reject the new cells. More the reason for stem cell research.
