casing Q

I keep hearing of people saying that after a flush they should dunk their casings. Im having a hard time visualizing how to dunk a container of loose soil and mycellium under water without it floating away or becoming mudlike.

i'm pretty sure that's why he cases them w/ straight vermiculite-
sterile said he was going to try w/ a peat/verm.

but your substrate should be a block and will come out quite easily.

I used to just fill the whole tray up with water, let it sit for about 6-8 hrs., then use a fork to hold everything in the tray while I drained the water out. Then added some fresh casing.

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.
