Fruiting to Maturity
    #407931 - 09/28/01 11:05 PM (22 years, 4 days ago)

I know that it depends on heat and other factors but ball park figure, how long would you say it takes to go from the start of fruiting to a mature mushrooms ready for sporeprinting. Also, when you see a shroom just about to break its vial or just broke its vial, how long do you need to wait to pick that shit and start printing it?

Around here fruits mature within a week. My shrooms are usually ready to print about one day after the veil breaks.

Puscle - i have some B+ pinning, and two days after this Lipa Yai started to pin - the B+ are still 1/4 of an inch, while the Lipas are sporing and large !.. This has to be strain based doesnt it??

Bluemeanie, yes, assuming the two strains were grown on the same type of substrate, parameters, etceteras. These Thai and Cambodian strains are amazing.

most of the strains ive cultivated mature within 3-5 days after they are noticeabley pins..but there was one instance where i cultivated treasure coast and they took a lot longer like 7-8 days to full maturity..was worth the wait though (=
