This is a Ecuador grown on a PF cake. It seems to me that the spores are on top of the cap, And I don't know how this could have happened, there are no other mushrooms anywhere near it. The only thing was that it was fairly close to the side of a clear rubber maid bin. Close enough for the spores to drop on the side of the bin. What makes me think they are spores is that when I touch the cap they come off on my finger and it is a deep purple. But how in the hell did they get on top of the cap?
