Im not new to shrooms
But have only ever done them wet (fresh)
I've done 60grams Columbians before. That was still only a level 3 or so.
If done dry for example 3g (equates to 30g wet) would it be more "intense" or very similar?
Its the same amount of psilocybe but it can be digested easier so maybe it will be?
Any views?

i've only done dried shrooms once, 3g of cubies, which was comparable to a 40g fresh trip for me.
some of the psilocin in the shrooms is lost on drying, so they should be less potent if anything. a lot will depend on the particular batch of mushrooms you have.

Hi,
I'm a newbie here with a similar question.
In light of the new laws to be passed I was going to get a load of fresh shrooms in very soon and dry them - I can't imagine festival season without them!
I've read up on drying techniques and would just like to know if i'm right in thinking that if I was to buy about 30g of fresh shrooms (about 1-2 doses), that would translate to about 10 doses dried?
If that's the case, what is it about dried shrooms which makes them mroe potent than fresh?

neh 30grams dried would be like 3g.
15g wet - 1.5g dry
I'd get a kilo in if i were you (?80!!) and dry them all n store them

Better yet, just grow your own. 
All it cost me was 1 Euro for a spore print from the FSRE, some brown rice flour (?1 at Holland and Barret) and some vermiculite and perlite (?6 total from B&Q)

In my experience the onset and come up are shorter with dry mushrooms compared to fresh mushrooms. That might cause a more 'intense' trip, but I didn't experience any difference in the peak of my trips.
3g dry would be very similar to 30g fresh, but probably a faster onset and come up. All mushroom trips are different though and it's hard to tell what caused the difference.

hah yea the chemicals remain still but how it works is that the 90% of the weight you lose is off of the water in them
splitting 30g fresh into 10 doses would not be so good.
i dont know where you people get your fresh mushrooms but homegrow i have gotten tend to vary alot and if people are using PF tek they can be about as strong as 2g or 2.5g dry when really it should be like 3.5g dry.
the mushrooms i have grown one time and i ate both dry and fresh on the had about the same level trip around 3.5g or a bit less dry and 30g fresh
some farm grown mushrooms (what you will mostly get when you are buying dried off the street) are just more potent that shrooms grown on BRF to start with
