Contamination. Outdoor air vs. indoor air.

As it is getting warmer outside, so is my house, growroom, and as a result my PMP. I was reluctant to open the window because I had read that many things can enter the grow room from outside air. I was wondering though, is outdoor air really worse than indoor air? Of course for someone who takes measures to keep their grow room as sterile as possible, allowing outside air to enter would not be very beneficial. What about the low scale simple grower that doesn't run air cleaners etc. I remember reading somewhere that indoor air actually has more mold floating around because sunlight reduces it in the outdoors. Any thoughts or comments on this? The only down side I see to opening a window would be gnats getting in, but I spray my screen and tub with gnat killer/repellent so I think I'm alright in that respect.

Personally, I've never opened my window to cool a growroom, simply because it was never needed. But I would open it and see what happens. If shit starts contamming, then close the window, toss the contams, and lysol that bitch down. One thing you might wanna do is check out a local news website. They usually have daily counts of pollen and mold of the air in your area.... GL bro

Thanks for the suggestion, I forgot that they had that info on the weather channel. I just checked and my area is high in pollen but low in mold.
