I would say some kind of bolete judging from the spongy underside of the cap.

Polyporus squamosus, also known as Dryad's Saddle. Technically edible, but I don't know anybody who bothers. That's a young specimen, so it should be about as good as possible for eating. I don't think I'd bother, though.

I have eaten them. They taste exactly like watermellon rind. Not recomended.
