Yet ANOTHER poo question
    #4072146 - 04/19/05 12:35 PM (11 years, 7 months ago)

Okay so when spawned to poo, what's the usual yield per 1qt jar of grain??

Basically what I'm trying to do here is get a rough estimate of a yield here.  Contamination plays into place.  I'm doing (12) 1qt. WBS jars innoc'ed with 2cc liquid myc (via karo meathod).  Spawning to Tenn. Stud 50/50 poo/straw.  Any estimate??  If cased just right out of the jar.. what is the possible average for each 1qt jar?? I know there are an impossible amount of variables.. but i know you guys get regular yields per. amount of media used.  I'm just used to doing PF jars.. which pail in comparison to bulk teks!

Thanks
Sam  :syringe:

Yield wouldn't be based upon how many quart jars of spawn you use, so much as how much bulk substrate it's spawned to.

As with every other yield question that pops up here, I'm going to tell you there is no direct answer. Variables upon variables you're dealing with.

way too many variables.

growing conditions and all sorts of variables.

it's like asking...how long will it take me to walk from Seattle to New York City?
there are a thousand possiblities.

yeild is going to be different with each grow...your gonna get what you get.
your asking us to basically guess.

take care!~

You'll get exactly 83.6 pounds of dried shrooms per quart...
