Is there any reason I shouldn't mix my BRF/verm and put it in my jars on one day and sterilize them the next? I only have access to a kitchen for at most 1 hour each day (my old man works at home) so I have to split the process up. Any problem with this? Thanks. Peace.

Yep. The problem is your putting your parents and their house at risk by cultivating without their knowledge. Its not responsible to do and with posts like this your likly to just get your threads locked since forcing people to break the law without their knowledge is looked down upon here..

Terrible idea. Not only for the reasons already mentioned, but also, look at it like this. A hospitable environment for mold, bacteria, etc. to flourish in and you want to leave it unsterilized for a day?! Welcome to Contam City!

Answer: Yes the reason you shouldn't mix your jars and sterilize the next day is, YOU SHOULD NOT GROW IF YOUR PARENTS OR LET ALONE ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD DO NOT KNOW OR ALLOW YOU TO. NOT COOL!

At least dont be sneaky about it, just tell your parents your gowing to start gardening, they shouldnt have a problem with that. Growing a few little plants in your closet, just like basil and some herbs and stuff. Give them to your mom to use in her cooking. Let them get used to you growing stuff, then tell them your gowing to grow some exotic mushrooms, for her cooking as well, heh. If she asks to use them (which she wont) tell her they got contaminated and your going to try again. This way they know your growing mushrooms and it wont be such a problem just dont tell them their "magic".

^^^^^ what they said.
get your parents permission, or move out.
don't grow in a home where the owner isn't fully informed of the risks involved
