Slow/Halted Fruiting
    #406980 - 09/27/01 10:29 PM (22 years, 7 days ago)

This is my dog's first grow experience, so he expected a few roadblocks, but he cant quite seem to explain this one.

He's got 3 styrofoam coolers, cased with peat moss, trying to grow PF EQ's. THere's a cool mist humidifier supplying the humidity, but, alas...no hygrometer to tell what the actual humidity is. He got a great first flush after about 13 days after casig, in one cooler. the rest have put out nothing. no pinning, no action at all. What gives?

He also just cased 3 trays of b+'s in a cooler with some perlite. He mists frequently, and fans 2 times a day. oddly enough, the tray that is doing the best (8 visible shrroms and counting) is 4 days younger than the other 2, which aren't doing anything. again, what gives?

cased with perlite?

and that is doing better than peat moss?

try peat:vermiculite::1:1

Or check out all the other teks around, there are so many ways to do this!

I also suggest your dog get a hygrometer, they are worth the money.

and, are you fanning the trays? Air exchange is just as important as humidity.

twice a day. the cases are wet to the touch, but have shrunk in size, as if they've dried up.
