question for the experienced about TiT to PMP

Please exuse my noobieness. I have read all the teks over and over
My question: If one were to do a TiT for incubation and a PMP for the Terranium with about 8 jars of GT using Pf TEK, do the jars normally all birth about the same time? or do you move one or two out of the TiT at a time.
The reason the question, is I was wondering if one could use the containers for the TiT, then transform it into a PMP while the cakes were being dunked/rolled? Or do these need to be built completely separately because you may be using both at the same time?
Thank you very mush for your time!

I suppose you COULD do it in a perfect world... but seeing as how we dont live in one of those......
Jars colonize at different times, I have yet to see somebody who had jars 100% at the EXACT same time... If youre spending all that money to make a PMP, spend the etxra 4$ and get another rubbermaid

I agree, make both. It is true that jars will colonize at different times. You can either birth them as they colonize, or you could just leave the colonized jars incubating a few more days so the other jars can catch up. Since you are only doing 8 jars, waiting for the rest to catch up might be the best bet. As for me, I birth when they are colonized because I am usually needing the empty jar space.

I say go with a seperate TiT and PMP. The reason I say this is because you'll quickly learn that fruiting everything at the same time will provide you a shitload of work to do all at the same time. If you birth your cakes as they colonize 100%, you don't have to worry about harvesting and drying from all your cakes at the same time... Just something to chew on, GL bro

Well out of 16 jars, half EQ and half GT, they all reached full colonization only one day apart. You could simply leave the faster ones in there for an extra day and birth them all at once. The only problem is if you plan to do casings and you need to put them back in the incubator before the fruiting chamber. Really though, all you are saving yourself is $10 here by not getting an extra tub. Not worth the hassle at all in my opinion.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
I am going to build both. I really wasn't worried about the extra $$, more worried about using too much space in the closet. But it's all good. No worries. Sounds like the safest approach.
