Spring cyans and some fimetaria

went for a walk by one of my favorite cyan patches today and found these . I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it, fortunately I had my camera :
P. cyanescens
I was surprised how many pins there were, probably a couple dozen healthy ones, along with 30 or so mature shrooms. pretty wild, 3rd year in a row I've seen them in the spring but never this late...
P. fimetaria
enjoy

wow, thats incredible! Especially after that warm, dry period in February... I'm surprised to see this! But, the temps have been low and it has been quite rainy.
Nice find!

that is very cool. quick question. If I buy or get some alder wood chips from the local playground is it reasonable to think that cyans could pop up sometime w/o the help of an outdoor kit

wow thats pretty nifty, considering the crazy warm weather that happened earlier this year youd think they would be done till fall again.

thanks all
swung by the giant stuntzii colony on the way home today to check on things. pretty big flush coming up there, easily several hundred specimens. too small and numerous to be bothered harvesting them but it's kinda cool to be surrounded by more shrooms than you can count ...
