Please tell me this is what I think it is. (pics)

I'm currently on day 7 in the fruiting chamber of my BRF crumbled cakes, using 50/50+ casing, B+ strain. I have been fanning 4-6 times per day and a light misting thereafter.
I read on the forum that pinning takes 9-12 days on average, so I'm getting pretty anxious. This is my first grow so I really don't know what to expect.
Well this morning I went to fan and noticed tiny round bumps on the areas that have the most mycelium sticking out and some on the other areas. Forgive my ignorance, but is this the start of primordia (pinning) or something else entirely? Are pins in the very near future based on what you can see in the photos?
My temps are a constant 75 degrees and they are getting 12-16 hours of sunlight (12) and fluorescent light (3-4).
I have circled the areas I am concerned about in the photos and I have 3 that are pretty much the same consistency.
 Overall casing view.
 Circles show areas.
 Additional close up.
 Another close up.
Unfortunately it's looking like I will have an uneven pin-set. I guess better luck next time.
I really appreciate the experience on the forum. Thanks in advance for any help and/or insight you can provide.

I see primordia. Keep things moist and wait it out, you're getting there.

Ha Ha. I tried to change it before anyone saw the bucket of poo, but I guess I was too late.
So the primordia is the start of pinning, right?

Haha, yep, you changed it so fast I edited my first post. That was quite a laugh seeing a tub full of poo as "This is the casing layer".
Those will be pins shortly, yes.

Your timely response and experienced opinion is always appreciated Diver.
Does it look like I will get an uneven pin-set?

how bad is an uneven pin set, anyway? if my casings are looking a bit like his (but not so far yet) should i patch the shallow spots?
-------------------- Under his instruction, I taped drumsticks to his head and turned him into a sort of mummy, or perhaps a caterpiller in a cocoon. He remains this way for about three hours, making bizarre noises, pretending to be a new species that must learn to walk and talk and eat, etc. And he communicates with other life forms by way of the antennae on his head. Eventually we jam a tube from a waterbong into it's mouth and figure he's learned all he needs to know.

Wronguy, an uneven pin set tends to reduce total yields, but you can't make a judgement this early about that. Often the second flush sort of "fills in" where the first flush didn't have any mushrooms.

I agree with BH.
That doesnt look too bad. I see lots of spots and it looks like the rest is just below the surface...it'll just be uneven, but thats not so bad, just harvest the mature ones and wait the rest out for a day or two. Next time, when you birth, cover heavy mycelium spots and keep coving every day without exposing the early popups to too much light and fresh air. Then when it comes up even enough, let it go. You dont want to patch to much, try to do it just once but two or three patches if needed can help to get a nice even pinset.

Thanks for the replies Blue and Scatman. I went off of Hyphae's pinning recommendations. It says to patch once and put into the fruiting chamber, do that's what I did. Next time I'll do some light patching for the first few days after I place in the fruiting chamber to even things out.

Usually one patch is all thats needed, applying a fluffy casing layer by sprinkling it and making sure its even with the substrate (not the ground) and not flat or pressed will help. Over time that becomes much more natural. Until then, second flushes make up for first unevenness.

Thanks again Scatman. I'll perfect my technique when building my casings in the future. I'm sure it comes with experience. This is my first grow, so not too bad I guess.
5 for you my friend.
