casing *too* wet?

can any problems come from making the casing too wet? it's straight verm, but the mycelium seems to be growing nicely and *fast* throught the layer. will the casing be more susceptible to contams? any other problems i may encounter? thanks guys

Actually, from what I understand, contaminants come more from high CO2 content but high moisture plays a part in it. Mostly you will stunt the growth of your fruits later on. You will start growing abhorts (fat asses). But I would say as long as the case isn't not sopping wet your mycelium will be ok.
