agreed, I always felt a little...eh about their seeming racism. the thing is, I think they confuse power/politics/economics in some cases and in turn seem racist. I'm sure they don't hate their white fans but just hate the (mostly) white people in power and their influence for better or worse on the black community. it's a slight copout in some cases allowing for laziness but overall is a relevant argument no matter where you stand. they're trying to (in their minds) liberate their people. nothing wrong with that unless you're an Iraqi. 
I'm sure their reasoning is more complex (hopefully), but yeah I don't really take offense to saying stuff like "crackers" and the negative connotations but just think it's mostly slight ignorance/miseducation on their part. for me they're very primal and imo hugely beneficial to the cause but also slightly damaging. whatever, though, they're not my favorite hip-hop group (not really politically either) but yeah some great stuff.
