light in terrarium?

Right now i have christmas lights in my terrarium but it got up to 86. What light would not give of heat so it will not raise my tempature?

A very small flourescent, and preferrably not inside your fruiting tub either. That's why your temps are rising so much.

What type of terrium are you using? I have one of those coleman plastic containers for camping. The lid is white and farily thick but it still lets in enough light for cakes to pin. You don't need much, as long as some light is getting to them. As far as lighting that doesn't put out much heat, you might try an LED flashlight. I'd image those are low heat.

it is a clear container but i blaxked it out so i do not get fat asses.
