ok, so i just threw 5 pints of fully colonized, but slightly contamed jars of popcorn into the compost pile outside? you think if it gets warm enough this summer they might grow? im very curious, and figured what the hell... any ideas?
I cant say for certain, but I dont see why it isnt completely possible to grow them in the great outdoors of Oregon. It happens naturally all over the place in Oregon so it couldnt be that tough for you to step in as mother nature and begin the growth process.
As for the compost pile idea...it seems a little weak because Im imagining some other bacteria already have control of most of the nutrients there. But hey, things could work in mysterious ways.
The only thing to do now is sit back and chill...and hope they grow.
