Everywhere I look, all they do is say that the root of the coconut tree is chewed as a narcotic. Yet, they do not get specific.
Checked Erowid, no coconut...
Anyone know anything about this?
(I'm not going to go buy a coconut tree to suck it's root to get ripped...Just curious as part of my research into the natural world of wonders.)

theres some type of root that this tribe in africa uses that contains morphine along with other opiate deriatives. i cant remember the name of the plant though.. it definately wasnt a coconut tree though ..
time to do some researching
