 How long can you keep sterilized jars without injecting them?

I have had brf/verm jars that have been ready to be injected for over a month. Will I be able to inject them now? Would it be better to just start again with new substrate?

If they were pressure cooked long enough and you have a good verm barrier on them, yes a month is fine. I've waited 2-3 weeks with quart jars of grain before and they were fine, there's no reason BRF jars can't go months +

sa diver said that may work for the pftek, as i have very little experience with the pftek i cant comment.
longest ive kept a grain jar though was 3 months before using it,
i simply somehow forgot about it in the drawer lol 
oh and it still colonised nicely.

They will be fine to use , if your jars are sterile you should be able to store them indefinitely. They should remain usable until they lose too much moisture and dry up.
And yes, you should move on to a different substrate. I would recommend either rye or wild bird seed. I would use rye if I was going to colonize, case and fruit. Use WBS if you want to use as spawn to bulk substrate. Just definitely move on. Good Luck.

how about liquid cultures?? i have one i sterilized the other day and didn't knock up, and i looked in it today and there was a buncha strand like things floating around in there any idea what this could b, i got a tyvek cover with polyfill

If it's white ,it's probably mycelium. Thats what you want. Did you use honey, karo or what. How old are they?Sorry, didn't see where you said you didn't noc up. If you didn't inoculate and you have growth? that isn't good. You know it's not shroom growth. Sure it's growth and not some carmelization of whatever you used.

i use kyro syrup and theres like hair like strands, kinda looks like the poly fill strands but there aint no way they could of gotten in it locked in with tyvek

i had some BRF jars with tyvek over the top with no foil that i was storing, i opened one up for the hell of it before i was going to use all of them and they were dry as hell after about 2 weeks, they probly would have lasted longer if there was something other than tyvek over the top, but if you are unsure if your stored jars are any good just open one and check it out
