panterinas

I found these last year, and photographed them in a hurry one day--near some oaks in the park.
Annulus, volva.
I am going to look for them again this fall. Is there anything in the photo that would make you think they were not panterinas?

They were too nice and I did not want to rip them up and look at the gills.

There's nothing in the photos to make me think they aren't, but the photos don't show the volva or base of the stem. For Amanitas you need to carefully dig them up so you can see those things.

Happy mushrooming!

I'm not sure where you're from but around here you don't have to wait till fall, they've been fruiting for a couple months now.
