Which one is earth?
    #4064796 - 04/17/05 05:55 AM (11 years, 10 months ago)

Which image is Earth, and which is Mars? One of the above images was taken by the robot Spirit rover currently climbing Husband Hill on Mars. The other image was taken by a human across the desert south of Morocco on Earth.

Atmosphere.

It's the astronomy picture of the day from two days ago, if I remember right.

Not only that, but you can see a subtle difference in the way the ground looks. While theres been no rain at all in mars well at least for a very long time, you can see that the ground in the left looks a little more worn down, ie by occasional rain.

Ya definatley left....there is more erosion from the elements of our atmosphere then in the jagged Mars rocks on the right.

My ten year old son knew
the difference. His main keys
were the rocks and atmosphere..

He's got a superior IQ, the little smart ass...

mars is the right picture because the atmosphere has a high level of dust that gives of a red tint thingym

The rocks on the left are eroded by rain and such. They're not as 'sharp' as those on the right.

2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.
