A.I.D.S. Walk
    #4064203 - 04/17/05 02:12 AM (11 years, 7 months ago)

Tomorrow there is a big A.I.D.S Walk here in Vegas. Somehow, I think I could walk a thousand miles and not prevent a single case. How about double-bagging or being monogamous or celibacy? Nope! Walking is the answer.

Why is everybody so against AIDS nowadays? What did AIDS ever do to them?

Anyway, you get to raise "AIDS awareness" by organizing a mass swarm of people walking around. I don't really think it raises awareness because not many people seem to care about these walks outside of the people actually participating, but whatever makes them feel good eh?

How about an HIV quarantine? We can put all the people infected with HIV in one country and let everyone else practice free love with no fear of AIDS, while those with AIDS could fuck all they want, have a society and slowly die off, ridding the world of our modern black death. Of course, people would say this is unethical, as opposed to letting tens of millions of people in future generations die off from AIDS.

And by the way, double-bagging actually increases friction, causing rips in the condoms and therefore increasing the spread of AIDS and pregnancy, not decreasing it. Condoms are meant to be worn one at a time.

AIDS is the only disease that has civil rights.

I lived near San Francisco when AIDS first appeared in the USA. The city closed down the bath houses which were merely a place for male orgies. The Gays screamed about their rights being violated even as thousands were dying.

A.I.D.S. Walk?

That is where you walk funny as if your anus is sore from recent penetration...  :smirk:

It's a fundraiser.

Don't belittle fund raisers that fund a good cause such as AIDS research. In this day and age AIDS can touch the lives of anyone.

"A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda
