Would YOU eat a mushroom from a casing that had cobweb?
Just curious.

No, but spraying that shit with water/h202 mix might help it to survive.

um, it's not all over the whole casing but the mushrooms only grew to about 2 inches before the caps opened. I split them down the middle before drying and a couple had some bluing in the center of the stem near the cap. Is that normal? This is my very first crop. They smell fine and look fine other than that.

i'd eat them... doesn't sound like there is anything realy wrong with them... unless you are allergic to mold.... enjoy!

I mentioned the slightly questionable nature of these babies to my ONLY friend who knows about all this. She enthusiastically volunteered to try them. I explained to her the potential problems, but she said she just had an allergy test and is not allergic to mold (only cats and dust mites).
Anyway she's going to eat them this weekend. I am a little worried. I don't want to hurt my friend. We'll see how it goes, I'll let y'all know.

thanks for your kind reassurance.
my friend is fine. she ate one gram and felt fine and happy so i gave her 3 more a couple days later and she and i played in the sunshine and "squeegeed our third eyes" together.
refreshed and awake again,

there are no beaches here in the midwest but we did have a fast furious sweaty fuck in the back seat of her car.
if you're trying to make some sort of homo joke you'll have to try harder. i've been deflecting them most of my life and i'm certainly not gonna get my feelings hurt by a smartass with a keyboard and too much time on his hands.
