tests and adderall
    #4061191 - 04/16/05 01:50 AM (12 years, 10 days ago)

Today I had 4 huge tests and I popped 30mg in the morning and another 30mg in the afternoon.  I didn't study for the tests and I could recall all the material that was taught in class and what the tests encompased.  I finished them when other people were like 3/4 done and I usually am last to finish. wow. I thought I did pretty fucking good

Can't go to bed though :frown:, hopefully some weed will cure that.  :rasta:

Slippery slope my friend.

Are the tests graded yet? I when I used to take a pill every once in a while it felt that everything was going good, whatever I was doing. When I sobered up, and saw the results of my actions, I wasn't so pleased. But, so many roads to ease my soul...

I wish you luck on your journey, the previous is just my opinion.

I don't know... I think I did really good, haven't seen the grades yet. I know for a fact that I knew everything and I have done way good on tests while on adderall before. I can see, though, the addiction potential for adderall... it gives you a fat mood lift. Usually I don't like to talk to most people at my school and blow them off 24/7, except for my friends, but when I'm on adderall everything people say is so fuckin interesting. Do you have any experience with it Diciple?

Adderall consumed my life for about 2 years. Then one day I forgot it (It was perscribed to me) and I felt great!

Moral: Moderation = k3y.
Moderation means only for tests.

 I wish I had some adderall.  That would make learning a snap.

I find I suffer from "state-dependent learning" when I used to study with it.

I'd spend 12 hours in the library and the next day couldn't remember a damn thing I'd learned...

Yup. Coffee is a better solution for studying, adderall (if it can be obtained) for tests.

edit: Give sobriety and rest a try, too. Those two will do great things for you.

Experience loved me in high school. It's dangerous because it makes everything perfect. Everything flows and everyone and everything they say is interesting, like previously mentioned. It's almost like E in that aspect, you just want to chat to everyone.

Its dangerous stuff and messes with your appetite and sleep cycles. Neither of which are good to mess with. If you need a buzz, green tea, coffee, and other plants are a nice remedy. Coffee probably being the most potent and popular, but I have been known to be wrong. Father has provided plenty in the garden, just do a little research and find some healthy help. No use starting new habits when we all have plenty to begin with.

"State-dependent learning" has been proven by research. It's best to stay in the same "state of mind" because your body performs best that way.

Much Love,
Diciple

I always took anywhere from 10-40 mg in the morning during my senior year of high school and by the night time I was ready to crash. Never had a problem sleeping unless I popped some later in the day. You're probably sick of hearing it, but remember not to let that shit get out of control. I did and payed a hefty price  Took a while to get over it but I made it.

I don't see how they give it to kids that are just getting into their teens.  I think thats a shitty thing to do.  And I'm defianetly going to save it for tests only .  I can't imagine what meth would be like.  :frown:

Big Pharm companies make big bux when "docs" diagnose young'uns with "ADD" and "ADHD" and prescribe Adderall, Stratera, Ritalin, etc. It's more about money than helping treat them. I know plenty of people with "ADD" or "ADHD" (or so they were told by their doctors, who the can trust... right?) and they are perfectly fine without meds. They are in fact much better without meds than they were when they took them.

Yeah, thats really weird. I know a bunch of kids who are just fine without those meds, but still they insist they have ADD. They take like 30mg a day.... thats enough to keep me running around for like 6 hours. The weird thing is... when you mention weed to them, or even alcohol, they shy away and call you a druggy. Fuckin' ignorant hipocrits

I try to use Adderall at the bare minimum. I hadn't used it all semester, but then last weekend I had a lab report and a big test due the same day, so I popped one and did awesome. I have another lab report, a 4 page paper and another test due Monday, so I'm thinking about popping one tomorrow, and knocking out this lab report tonight. I have an addictive personality, and I notice how I'll want an Adderall for a few days after I take one, but I know to stay away. I've never used it to take tests though, just to study and I never had any trouble recalling what I learned.

i get it legally, but i still try not to abuse it, but it seems people are always comming by to get some for a test or study or what not. kinda nice way to make a little money on the side, but some of those kids are straight up addicted now.

so moderation is key, but try not to think you need it for tests and/studying, instead see it as a nice little aid and not a requirement.

Well, sometimes you have so much homework and tests you do NEED it. At least that's how I justify it to myself.
