Pasta for Spawn?

I just saw a post where a guy boiled some pasta for about 8 min drained for 15min, then PC'd for 60min. He had pics of the jars 7 days after inoculation and they looked quite good. They were only being kept at 70 too! I bet if they were at 80-84 they would be done in 10 days max. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this with any results?

I have 2 packs to try out. Don't know if you guys are joking about shapes but they are important. The thread is in the growlog section. He found elbow shaped worked best. I have spirals and flutes (hollow straight tubes). He didnt PC some of them and they worked fine. I plan on filling a a/c bag with excess boiling water, seal the bag except for a small gap. Heat it on full for 10 mins. Drain almost comletely and give it another 5-10mins on full to drive off the excess water.

my spirals show nothing, maybe a SLIGHT (tiny) growth. i removed the foil tonight hoping for some more airflow. we'll see how it goes. it's been...5 days? i don't remember.

You had a syringe full of liquid innoculant & mycelium for a year and it was still viable? How did you store it?

fridge, but it might not be good. white stuff may be mold, i opened the jar today and smel what might be fermentation. i enjected a corn jar with fresh spores though. i had like 8 syringes of culture for a year, i though they may have lasted, but now im thinking i may be wrong
