couple quick martha Q's

well i just got my martha all hooked up w/ an ultrasonic and a vicks coolmist, my Q's are:
1. with my coolmist running 24/7, what kinda exhaust holes does everyone have in the martha to keep it from inflating like a balloon and where are they located?
2. when my ultra kicks on, it literally fills the inside w fog but i'm still getting a reading from my 2 humidity gauges at around 75 or 80... i'm guessing its where the gauges max out, but this fog fills it up (w/ the ultra on all it's lowest settings) in just a matter of a couple minutes. would leaving this run for 30 minutes only twice a day suffice for RH during fruiting? i'm hoping not to get a reply of "buy a better humidity gauge and a better timer" cause i'd like to work w/ what i have since i'm a piss poor college kid. so would you anyone think this is ok? thanks for any help and reply's... i'm almost there!

and it wont inflate like a balloon, i bought some plastic to put on the bottom and taped it in place, and put a hole in the center with a cork that way when water builds up i can drain it, air will exscape it is not air tight what this does is makes the tent positive pressure that way contams cant get in.

yeah i def. have the posi pressure thing going, i just don't want it to build too much pressure and start f'in up my vicks (makin it leak around the seam, you know that ordeal)
the thing w my timer is that it won't go below a half hour so i was hopin i could just extend the duration between cycles to make up for the longer run time, let me know what you think and thanks for the help
:edit: and the ultra is piped in over the coolmist

I put two little wholes in the bottom of the Martha they serve as exhaust and as drainage. I also put a driveway fan under to catch runoff.

Ebay is a great place to get those timers real cheap.
The thing about a longer run time is this. Once you saturate the air with water (100% humidity) Any water you try to pump into the air will just become condesation. I wan actully watch it rain in my 3-tier.
So once you reatch saturation your just wasting water and making a mess.
Here is what you sdhould do. See how long it takes for the air to be thick with fog and condensation on the walls. Turn off ultrasonic and wait until you humidity falls back to around 70%. That will be your cycle.
If your cycle is 10minutes on 3hours off as mine is, 30 minutes is gonna be way to much. gonna have contant puddles but if you have a good drainage that wont matter.
And twice a day is going to cause a buildup of too much humidity and then its gonna fall to too little with only a small window where the humidity is optimal.
