A thought on God...
    #4055839 - 04/14/05 07:28 PM (11 years, 7 months ago)

Imagine dividing an apple in as many equal parts as you could. There is the absolute apple and there are its equal pieces. These pieces as a whole make the apple absolute. God is like the apple, the father. We are the equal pieces, his children. This is the reason why it?s said that we are all the same in the eyes of God, and it?s in effect the equality of his love the law of karma.

There are no equals in reality, we are all unique. Some apples are bruised and when divided, the bruise shows up on only some peices and not all. I would fancy that we each have a place in the apple, and take any one out and it is no longer a whole.

One organism, infinite parts... no two alike, but each Equally essential.

If god is the applie... then what is the tree from whence it came?

Who planted the tree?

My god, of a god, of a god, of a god, of a god, of a god, of a..... oh god, I love paradoxes.

You see delusion as reality. No delusion is alike.

No, delusion sees me as reality. Nothing is alike everyting is special and deliberate. Even two visibly equal values are not the same, each is itself.

You miss the point. It does not concern me who planted the tree because God is not an apple. I refered to him as an apple metaphorically.

The tree was a metaphor as well  Who/what/how was/is the structure established to give form to this metaphorical apple?

What if I told you that you could interpret the pieces as the soul, your essence...consciousness. Would this make things easier to digest?

Apples are easy enough to digest as it is, I just ate 2. So you think that there is this binding essence in all things great and small that is equal? profound... but simply and utterly speculative! I see all things as the same essence, no division except the clear and pressent uniqueness inherent in all things empty and filled. Equal in the regard that we all need this essence to be, nothing more other than the plane of existance that is before you right now... forget your soul and see that its you not some mystical energy somewhere on someother level where we cant see but all things are equal....
Shit! now you see in my BS ramblings I think I stumbled upon your meaning, damn I guess there is more than one point of ego by which we can view the same truth.
haha good times
peace
