With all the helpful information and helpful people at this site, I feel that I was able to get into this hobby unbelievably smoothly.  I haven't even been growing 3 months yet, but I reached what I believe is a significant milestone.  I picked my 4th casing today(6qt sterilite shoebox), and it is the first one where you can not see the substrate while looking down from above.  I'm talking CANOPY baby hehe.  It should be in excess of 2.5 oz. dry all told.  I would like to thank everyone here who has helped by answering questions and making such a wonderful community of likeminded individuals :smile:

I wish I had a camera. I am really liking casings tho. It takes me around 20 cakes to get 2oz. dry. And I am getting that or more from half a square foot of surface in the 6qt sterilite. It is 4inches deep tho. They seem to be doing better than my lasagna pans(12in. x 9in. x 2in). I bought a variety of different size plastic containers this week to put in my 4tier I just got. I plan to fine tune which works best for me as far as container size. I may keep using the 6qts in my PMPs tho, if can keep getting consistent yields. I can fit 4 of them in each PMP, and I have 3 PMPs going hehe. 2oz. x 4 containers x 3PMPs=lol. Anyway, things are going great and I owe a lot of it to this wonderful site. Hopefully I can get a camera soonish.
