Anyone experienced this?

Hi, I ate about an 1/8 of shrooms last night and tripped very very hard. I've only tripped a handful of times in my life, and I've never come close to where I was last night. Once it kicked in, the things I saw and felt and heard, it was all beyond beautiful, but I'm sure you all have experienced something like this. But then all of a sudden, the music sounded distant, and I felt very uncomfortable. Nothing could take me back to the beautiful place I was visiting just a minute ago. I felt an aching emptiness. Literally I felt nothing and it ached, physically and mentaly. There was some introspection, but mostly just emptiness, and lonliness, it was awful. I couldn't remember who I really was, but I worried that I would never be my self again. There was a point where I was just moving in a melting world, and I would look up and just see blackness. I felt that I had taken way too much, but I remember my dead head friend telling me he used to eat 1/8th's all the time. These were the kind of thoughts that helped me throught the depression. Anyway, I guess that was a bad trip, I just expected scary clowns and shit like that. Instead I just felt a horrible distant emptiness. It was like I had seen God, and then coming back to reality left me barren because nothing could compare with the beauty I initially felt and saw. So has anyone else felt the "emptiness" I referred to. It was a new sensation for me. Is this part of a bad trip?

ya the emptiness is very common ... on my first trip, i ate just over a half eighth and though the trip didnt start kicking in until about 45 min, the next 15 min came so fucking powerfully that i started freaking and saw scary shit. i suddenly felt very alone, even though my friend was with me, and he turned on Dazed and Confused (the movie) to just chill and watch. At first, the sound coming from the TV was very distant and plastic-y, and it just bothered me. i was tumbling around the room with HELLA fuckin visuals and I was just freakin out cuz it was so goddam powerful. my friend got me to finally relax, and though at first i had a bad trip, by t+1:30 (30 min into the peak) i was grooving in ecstacy and the emptiness and loneliness left. fuckin amazing trip once i left the bad trip behind ... u just gotta groove into it i dont know why it would suddenly pounce on u like that, did you get some weird thought or something?
It must be hard to trip if you anthropomorphize your shrooms. We're all MADD here...

it's all about SETTLING into the groove ... that's the hard part but once you master it bad tripping just doesn't seem to exist it is quite hard to settle when a lot of shit is happening but once you do (if you do) then it is just amazing
