I drank with the band...
    #4054140 - 04/14/05 10:20 AM (18 years, 11 months ago)

So on lasdt night I went to the Hot Hot Heat Concert and Louis XIV and The Futureheads opened up for them. So anyways on the advice from Robosaurus Rex I didn't end up not watching Hot Hot Heat and instead wandered into the near empty bar upstairs.

Much to my pleasure I ended up seeing the lead singers of the openers and ended up drinking and pissing the breeze with them for the whole Hot Hot Heat set. Needless to say I now deem myself a level 4 awesomeness and i'm still loaded as I type this.

Are they going to thank you on their next album?

Hey man that sounds like a good time! I bet the dudes from Louis like to get PLASTERED and the Futureheads guys all had good-guy vibes coming from them.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Louis was actually pretty sub dued, I bought him a drink and he said now hard stuff and then later he bought me one back. Future was much more outgoing and they were both the most friendly guys in the world

Interesting side note: I don't how it got started but we started talking about acid and Louis won't toucfh it again and Fut just loves it. I'm so not in control of my faculties now
