Hey man I see you're pretty new to the Shroomery - welcome! This kind of post would do better in either The Pub or Music Art & Literature, unless you want a good suggestion of PF to listen to while tripping, in which case - Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon.

They're all good, but I'll always have a special place in my heart for Dark Side of the Moon. Takes a while to get used to (esp. the screeching noise in The Great Gig in the Sky) but once you get used to the feel of the album (and realize that the screeching sound is just a distorted sound of someone singing their soul out) then it becomes classic.

The Wall is really great. My fav while tripping is Wish You Were Here. The Division Bell is decent too, and lately I've really been getting into The Final Cut.

Dark side is great as everyone has mentioned, and wish you were here. The wall is also a favourite too.

Division Bell.... hehehehe... kidding.

It's a tie: "Dark Side of the Moon", or "Wish You Were Here" .

Meddle comes in second... with the title track being Floyd's best trip SINGLE.

Meddle, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here

Can't choose between these three.

I was referring more toward the distorted screaming in Speak to Me and at the end of Gig.  When I first worked up the patience to listen to The Great Gig in the Sky in its entirety (which was almost a month after I got the album) I realized it was a woman singing, and that was when I came to terms with the awesomeness of Dark Side.

I love pink floyd. My favorite album is definatly The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. It has Syd Barret, the musician who went crazy shortly after Pink Floyd started to gain popularity. The album Wish You Were Here was about him. If you don't like the album at first, listen to it again and it will sink in to be your favorite.

there all pink foyd, which makes em amazing But some stand out to me.

The Dark Side Of The Moon reminds me of my first psychedelic experiences , listening to everysong brings me great joy and awakening to experiences that later changed me forever. that album is a psychedelic masterpeice.

Meddle is great, lots of variety , and ECHOES. hearing that song while in a mushroom-state is like a journey . at the end of that song i feel like ive climbed the highest mountain.

The wall is amazing, of course its a classic.

The Division Bell is great too. on a high dose of mushrooms division bell brought me places ive never been before , with a lot of euphoria, pure ecstacy at times. some of the notes in some songs slammed by back in my chair in awe.

there all worth listening to atleast once. pink floyd blows my mind. opens my mind to new worlds like no other music i know. im completly infactuated.

Those pink floyd dvd's werent bad either. i own live in pompeii and the making of the dark side of the moon. i recommend em both
